Staffing Coordinator Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily staffing schedules for nursing and support staff based on resident needs and state requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, scheduling changes, and time-off requests.
- Collaborate with department heads to address staffing shortages and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Monitor staff credentials and certifications to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports in a timely manner.
Staffing Coordinator Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a staffing coordinator, scheduler, or similar role in a healthcare setting (preferably in a nursing home or long-term care facility).
- Must be able to work in Trenton, NJ
- Compassionate working with the geriatric population
